Applications to conduct activities within Appalachian Power Company's Project Boundary on Smith Mountain and Leesville lakes are located below.

Dock permits are necessary to construct, expand or modify a dock on Smith Mountain and Leesville lakes. Appalachian Power Company permits are personal rights issued to property owners and thus are issued to property owners (as opposed to contractors, realtors, etc.) A property owner may transfer a permit to a new property owner after the property has been sold by completing the Assignment of Permit form, in essence obtaining a new permit.
